Oklahoma
is the only state I know of that requires customers
to be affiliated with a license plate collector organization
in order to purchase samples. They ask that you attach
a copy of your "license plate collector identification
card" with your order. As far as processing time,
it sounds slow: up to 8 weeks for in-stock plates,
and up to 16 weeks for plates that
aren't in stock. Wow. |

also available in person at the DMV headquarters in
Montpelier, they are very nice there and the place
is rarely busy so it's a good experience. The only
