	April 1992, large size Collection of the author For a long time, motorcycle plates used to be about a half inch larger on both ends than the standard 4x7 size. Why this was the case, I have no idea.
	May 1997, small size Collection fo the author At some unknown point, VT switched to the North American standard size of 4x7 inches.
	April 2006, small size Photographed in use Vermont is currently (mid-2008) in the H series for motorcycles.
