These plates are issued to vehicles owned by the state government. Not too rare, but not exceedingly common, either.

The numbering choice was no accident on this sample plate - the "E" on this stands for drivers education, so this is an even more unusual sample plate.

I believe the T in this plate stands for Transportation. So what's the difference between this plate and a T series State Agency plate?

A few state government plates are issued on the conservation base. The W prefix is for the Fish & Wildlife Service.

Not surprisingly, a few have started to appear on the new catamount base. This particular plate was on a Toyota Highlander hybrid.

This is the first State vanity I have seen... but I guess they can do whatever they want.
