Temporary Plates
	2007 Collection of the author As long as I've been on the collecting scene, temporary plates have been running in a D 00000 format.
	2008 Collection of the author Around April 2008, D 99999 was reached and plates restarted at D 00001 (I guess).
	2008 Collection of the author I have no idea what the deal is with these black plates. So far, I have seen a total of two, compared to the hundreds of red plates I see everywhere. Does anyone know what these are for?
	2008 Photographed in use Vermont has a specially-sized motorcycle temporary plate, which is actually pretty hard to find.
