Apparently there is a little "C" die here in Vermont for names like this. Very cool.

In contrast, 7 characters are now permitted with the narrow dies. This allows you to be more creative, as pictured.

This vanity plate could be somewhat offensive to anti-drug activists, but the real reason this plate is on here is because of the sticker. Why did this plate get an old style sticker? Most plates recently issued have the new computer-generated stickers.

This plate is very interesting. It ought to be a regular issue plate, but there's no space in the middle. I believe this is on the car of a teacher.

...they're very much alike. Even more strange: they were parked in the same parking lot at the same time. It was a large public parking lot, the cars were not next to each other, and the cars were not alike at all.
