| Antique
plates are for vehicles that are 25 years and older. Unlike
some states, vehicles registered this way can only be used
for club activities, car shows, parades, and so on. They can
not be used as daily drivers or for any other use. However,
there is no mileage restriction as long as the car is used
in accordance with approved activities.
For this reason along with the rather harsh climate, antique
plates are not very common in Vermont. As a result, many collector
vehicles have standard passenger plates or vanities. |
